All about me

I am an award-winning journalist and an un-award-winning comedian.

I believe there's an interesting overlap between journalism and comedy, and am looking for opportunities where I can combine the two to tell stories that inform and entertain audiences.

I graduated from Syracuse University with a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Communication & Rhetorical Studies. One degree taught me how to tell stories, and the other how to make them persuasive and engaging.

To put it succinctly, I'm a strong writer and an even better orator.

I've won awards for my journalism from the College Media Association Pinnacle Awards, earning first place in Best Multimedia Feature Story for a piece about wildfire smoke, and a top-five placement in the Hearst Journalism Awards for Multimedia Digital News.

On the comedy side, the highest accomplishment I've gotten is a "ha, that's funny," from my sister, who keeps me humble. Thank you, Daniela.
