All about me

I’m passionate about the overlap of journalism and comedy, and am pursuing opportunities where I can merge news, satire, and digital strategy to tell stories that inform, entertain, and connect with audiences.

With a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Communication & Rhetorical Studies, I bring both the technical skills of a newsroom producer and the storytelling and persuasion skills needed to engage diverse audiences – mixed with the timing of a comedian I can inform, entertain, and connect with people on multiple platforms.

My work has been nationally recognized, earning first place in Best Multimedia Feature Story at the College Media Association Pinnacle Awards, top-five placement in the Hearst Journalism Awards for Multimedia Digital News, and multiple first-place finishes in the White-Denison Presentational Speaking Contest.

Beyond the newsroom, I have built a strong presence in comedy. As President of The Kumquat Satire Club, Syracuse’s satirical magazine, I led a writers’ room that turned campus discontent comic art, while growing the club’s following by triple. I also managed The Playground Comedy Club, an independent off-campus venue, where I booked lineups, managed finances, and regularly performed original stand-up sets.
